Showing the social "fun"
Created for a hero section of a case study for my portfolio, this is primarily expressive visuals for the more "social-driven" aspects of the film zone like Stamping, Trending, and a peek at the Feed.
The feed
Created to pair with some text explaining the feed, this is more oriented on showing UI details, like the comments, a flash at the explore to show just a little of what the "curated" feed vs. "algorithmic" feed would be.
Profiles
The details here depart from where they ended up exactly in the design file, but this highlights some of the features that can be outcomes of having a tightly curated feed. Comparing between profiles, preferences, and taste would be a primary outcome of having built out profiles.
Curiousity
After some of this expressive motion exploration, it reminds me of old conversations we had around the goals and potential future of the platform. The core experience of TFZ surrounding a curated experience is especially topical as people start to gravitate towards less "algorithmic" platforms similar to substack, Patreon are generally more aware of how they engage with platforms like Youtube, Tiktok, Instagram.
Will be interesting if launch is still planned, what people's reactions will be (especially if the concept lands or not).
